Last night, fashion, art, and entertainment joined forces to celebrate the KENZO x H&M launch event in New York. The collaboration between the Parisian fashion house and the fast fashion retailer had a New York launch and a party that was all about self-expression and fun. KENZO x H&M was presented at Pier 36 with a spectacular runway show that included hype music and dance. The show included beatboxers, a drum line, and dancers dressed in KENZO x H&M clothing doing choreographed movement to the tune of “Express Yourself.” The clothes – bombers, pinafore and peasant dresses, opera-length gloves, multi-print leggings, and sock-shoes – were a mix of vibrant pieces full of eye-catching floral prints, logos, leopard prints, and tiger stripes.  

Fashion-forward celebrities Iman, Chloe Sevigny, Sienna Miller, Rosario Dawson, and Lupita Nyong’o came out to celebrate and express themselves. Lupita even shared a few videos of her “expressin’” herself after the show on Instagram.

Chance the Rapper, Halsey, Joe Jonas, Charli XCX, Elizabeth Olsen, and Spike Jonze, many of whom were dressed in pieces from KENZO x H&M, were also among the celebs that attended the spectacular show directed by Jean-Paul Goude.
