The Hasty Pudding Theatricals celebrates Chris Pratt as 2015 Man of the Year.
The Hasty Pudding Theatricals is the oldest theatrical organization in the United States and is part of the The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 (Harvard University). Each year The Hasty Pudding Theatricals selects and honors a Man and Woman of the Year "who have made lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment". This year, Amy Poehler was selected as the 2015 Woman of the Year and "feted" in late January 2015. Who was tapped as the 2015 Man of the Year? None other than Amy's Parks and Recreations costar, Chris Pratt.

Chris Pratt has become hot in Hollywood over the last year starring in Guardians of the Galaxy, voicing Emmet Brickowski from The Lego Movie [...ntz...ntz...ntz Everything is awesome!], and filming Jurassic World. Pratt is also rumored to be in an upcoming addition to the Indiana Jones franchise. If you're like me, you remember way back to 2002 when he played Bright Abbott on The WB's Everwood. Chris Pratt's star is definitely on the rise, but he hasn't forgotten the little people. Pratt along with friend Chris Evans recently visited sick kids at Christopher's Haven in Boston. The pair made a bet during the Super Bowl which has resulted in support for both Christopher's Haven (Chris Evan's charity of choice) and the Seattle Children's Hospital (Pratt's charity of choice) that saw "donations of nearly $27,000," according to people magazine.
