The "Celebrity Apprentice" is All About the Money...sorry Rudy!

Season 14 of "Celebrity Apprentice" premiered last night (Sunday, Jan. 4) with a new batch of celebrities. The first #CelebApprentice challenge...fundraising.

One team fell short and, of course, someone had to be fired. Keshia Knight Pulliam, famous for playing Rudy Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," was the first celebrity this season to hear Donald Trump say his two word catch-phrase, "You're fired."

So what went wrong? Pulliam, who was the project manager for the charity task, along with her team (Vivica A. Fox, Kate Gosslin, Shawn Johnson, Brandi Glanville, Leeza Gibbons and Kenya More) tried to raise money for her charity Kamp Kizzy by selling pies. In the end, her team fell short and when called into the boardroom Kenya Moore named Pulliam as the weakest player in the game for not calling her TV dad for a contribution. Pulliam, who refused to reach out to Bill Cosby, stated "I have not talked to Bill Cosby on the phone in I don't know how long". However, Donald Trump agreed with Moore that as project manager Keshia Knight Pulliam should be held responsible because "with one phone call you could have won the whole task."

Would you have called Cosby? The show was taped before the swarm of sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby. Donald Trump took to twitter after the show aired to clarify that he was unaware of the allegations that have since been made at the time Celebrity Apprentice was taping. He stuck by his decision to dismiss Pulliam tweeting "She still should have asked him for money-goes to charity."

There is a silver lining though.  Trump who called Pulliam an "amazing person" pledged to donate twenty-five thousand dollars to her Kamp Kizzy charity.

Kamp Kizzy is an Atlanta based organization founded by Keshia Knight Pulliam that hosts a week-long overnight camp for girls age 11-16 every July. The camp curriculum strives to promote self-esteem, empowerment, and motivation. Kamp Kizzy's motto is "Our body is our temple and what we put in our body is a direct reflection of what we get out of our body". The organization looks to expand its reach in 2015 to boys through Project James. Ultimately, the organization's vision is to have the #KampKizzy curriculum applied within schools and community centers globally.
