It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Synopsis: The Doctor and Clara face their Last Christmas. Trapped on an Arctic base, under attack from terrifying creatures, who are you going to call? Santa Claus! 

BBC has released a teaser trailer and still image from the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special, 'Last Christmas'. I was a wee bit sad when Clara and The Doctor parted ways at the end of 'Death in Heaven', but I am glad that I will get to see the duo in action together again.

At the start of series 8, I was skeptical as to whether or not I would like Capaldi's version of The Doctor. Now, I have to admit, I love the awnry, preoccupied Doctor. There is a level of nostalgia that makes me accept and love him. He harkens back to some of the earlier portrayals of my favorite Time Lord. I can't wait to see how Earth and Christmas are saved once again by The Doctor and his companion. 

The Christmas episode will star Peter Capaldi (The Doctor), Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald), Nick Frost (Santa Claus), Dan Starkey, and many other guest stars.
