The Doctor Who World Tour kicked off in Cardiff, UK on yesterday. The 12-day tour will be making its way around the world with stops in seven cities on five continents. Whovians will get to see The Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) his companion Clara (Jenna Coleman) and in some cities Steven Moffat the producer and writer of the reboot.

DOCTOR WHO WILL TOUCH DOWN IN NYC ON AUGUST 14
Doctor Who has a huge following in the United States so the tour will make a stop in New York City on August 14. I am saddened that a stop will not be made in Atlanta but am seriously contemplating a trip back to my home state for the Doctor. Maybe the the new Doctor will make it to Atlanta for Dragon Con! Well, a girl can dream can't she?
I love lady Liberty but after 'The Angels Take Manhattan' she's a bit creepy. Don't blink!
With series 8 just two weeks away the tour is generating huge excitement within the Whoniverse for the new Doctor (Capaldi) and the show. The opening episode 'Deep Breath' is set to air on August 23 on BBC Once and will be screened at midnight in cinemas across the U.S.
